ABOUT ME
I am an incoming Ph.D. student in XXX at XXX.
My research interests lie at the intersection of environmental psychology and the global climate challenge. Broadly speaking, my research seeks to unravel three questions:
1) How do individuals across different societies perceive, evaluate, and respond to global climate change?
2) What are the culture-specific enablers and barriers to high-impact pro-climate actions?
3) How can this understanding facilitate the development of more effective cross-cultural interventions to promote pro-climate behavior?
My goal is to apply insights from psychology to develop practical, evidence-based solutions to climate change by deepening our understanding of the people-environment link across cultures.
Before joining XXX, I earned my bachelor’s and master’s degree in 2019 and 2021, respectively, from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and the University of Pennsylvania where I studied Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences and Environmental Sustainability. After graduation, I worked for over a year as an Advisory Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) China, delivering business solutions to clients in the food industry.
In my free time, I enjoy observing and petting cats, capturing the beauty of the world via photography, working out, and visiting art museums.
